Writing

This project wasn't my first choice as a final project. What i was going to do was do kind of a movie by pictures and each picture would tell a story inside the movie, but i procrasinated. I thought it was due the 24 and not the 18. I planned to take the pictures the 15, but if I did that I wouldn't have time to print or do anything. I changed my project to taking pictures of a tree with one leaf. I was really bored taking pictures of this tree. It was hard coming up with new ideas to protray this tree. It isn't like I could move the tree from where it grows and place it in different spots. I had to leave it where it was. It sucked this project because I think my pictures look all the same except the lighting and the close and away from the tree. I couldn't take the leaf falling my shutter speed was too slow to take it because it was getting dark. I also couldn't fix my pictures on my blog which also sucked because I have pictures on there that are the same, but fixed. So that is why I have some pictures the same. I put the ones that weren't fix on there so I could get the order of my story and how my pictures are aranged right. When I went to school I could fix the wrong pictures with the pictures I fixed. I really need to learn not to procrasnate it really sucks I haven't learned that yet. My favorite pictures is the one at the end of the story when the sun is setting and it is all dark and the tree is standing alone with no leaves on it because the last leaf fell. My story is about the leaf and how light changes from morning to dark which actually I started in the afternoon when I woke up. I should say the how the light changes from afternoon till night. Tell where the leaf is and what is around it. My least favorite picture is of the leaf as a spec and the sky is greenish blue and the pink strip going through it. I promise that is how the sky really looked when I took that picture. Not joking. Well that is all I wanted to say about my project and what I did on it.

Portrait

With my full on faces i did one with no mouth then did one with no eyes. To read their expressions you have to tell by their mouth or eyes. I took these pictures when my family went to go shooting guns in the mountains.

I like this image. It shows how high she will go to take a picture. The light and darkness is great too. I like how the eagle head is shooting out and she is sitting on it.

I really like this image. I like it because of the light and darkness and the symatry used. How your eye is drown to the center. When i look at this image i feel peaceful because in the background how swirvey and calm looking. There isn't alot going on in the image and i like it for that. I got this off of www.googleimage.com under Cunningham.

leaf with rain drop

I like the color. I like how the rain drop is clear and you can see the background through the rain drop. It is a sharp image.

The buildings

I really like this image because of the pattern and light that is going on. There is buildings on each side and the bridges going across the buildings to the other side. Very cool image. Your eye never leaves the image. There are leading lines in this image with the buildings going straight down and then curve and with the bridges going across, but there is a line going straight down them. Www.flickr.com under rhym.

Busy Pattern

I like how they took the image from up above, but it is too busy for my tast. How the pattern is spirling down the stairs to the plant at the bottom of the stairs. Then there is a pattern in the floor. There is too many patterns going on. I think there should only be one pattern going on. It has cool patterns in it. I don't know what pattern this person wanted to portray in this image. I got this off of www.flickr.com under patterns.

Low and High

I really like this assignment. It was fun to see what I could come up with to take pictures of. My favorite picture is the piece of grass. I like it because the back ground is blury. My other favorite one is the tree b/c instead of looking straight forward im looking straight up.

Rich Legg

These are by a guy named Rich Legg. He is from Utah. I like the hand. That the leaning lines don't go off the page. The hand is in the middle. Don't know what is at the end of the bricks. There is something I really like about this image, but I have no clue. The image is very simply there is a hand and bricks. The city lights and the man atop of a hill looking down at the city. The city lights are so strong that it almost looks like day time. I like how you can only see the out line of the man. It shows how big Utah has gotten. I like how he could get the colors from the sky. The lake with the mountains: the lake is reflecting the mountains and sky. The water looks all cloudy. At first glance it doesn't look like water but the harder you look the more it does. Out of the three i really like the hand picture than the others.

The squarel. I don't know who took it or where my dad got it. I thought it was a funny picture. I like how the squarel looks like it is playing picka-boo with you. Like the detail in its face and how the background is blury so the thing you are looking at is the squarel.

My dad took this picture. The sun is setting. I love the colors in the background the blueish purple and the orange together. it is beautiful it brings me back to mississippi driving back home on the beach. The water is very calm. Far corner there are lights and that is Gulfport and those are the casino lights. The colors of the sky are reflected in the water. The palm trees are black were you see the out line of them. I really like that. I don't like the glow of the lights in the background.

Proposal

Road trip to mountains: what happens on the way, take pictures of scenery i see. i will take pictures of things i think look intersting. I will put into a story something bad wil happen and through my pictures tell the story.

Walk in the park: i can absorb the things that are going on. I will take pictures of people. Go many different times of the day and go many times. How light changes at different times of the day. How different things go on at different times of the day.

Rock: The many places i could put a rock in a picture. Make it where the viewer will have to find the rock. Make the rock interesting to look at or the simpisity of the image with the rock in it.

Alex Dahl Is Freakin' Awesome (and was here)!!!

I didn't really enjoy this project. I should have spent more time on this assignment. I should of thought it out more. This isn't my strongest assignment. I took pictures of sadness and loneliness. I didn't spend as much time as I should have.

New Orleans

This is of a person on the roof of his house and water surrounding him. Next to the hurrican katrina is of Louisiana from above look at all that water this is after the storm.

This is of downtown New Orleans. There is a car in the middle with water surrounding it. There are leading lines don't go off the image they keep on going. Many people died in hurrican Katrina in both New Orleans and Mississippi. Louisiana had more water damage than wind. Mississippi got both water and wind damage. Where I lived from the beach to the railroad tracks was flat. It was the first time I could see the beach from the railroad tracks. I lived 5 minutes away from the beach. For a few months they had the beaches closed to where only people who lived down there could go. I missed seeing the beach for that long. I use to drive everywhere on the road by the beach. I wouldn't swim in the water because it was nasty no joke it wasn't clear water like Florida, but I loved the sunset and before and after the storm. I still miss the beach. My house was fine we just had wind damage. I am glad we didn't loose our house like many other people. I will never forget hurrican Katrina.
