In the background the stairs are disappearing and the lightest part of the whole image. He has symatry and repeating shapes. 3 light bobls on each side and the arches. The light is showing a little of the detail on the walls. There are arches also on the walls. This is a very symatric image I really like the leading lines. How the image draws your eyes to the background and not off the page. It makes me want to see where the stares lead.
